National Air & Space Museum

This visit was a compromise. I wanted to visit the National Cathedral, but Husband wasn’t game. He’s not as into seeing churches as I am. I threw in the Ar & Space to get him to go with me, and I was prepared to suffer.

Um. I loved it! We’d allotted two hours for our visit, but spent four (and still didn’t see the whole museum. The highlight of the visit was trying out the flight stimulators. We picked the F-18 Experience ($8), because we got to control the aircraft. I was the pilot and we spent the entire three-minute ride either going in circles or hanging upside down. LOL. I was nauseous afterward.

The Air & Space Museum is open year round. To visit: National Air & Space Museum. Oh, and take the kids.
